Scenario - a test is 'executed' as a manual test and the test results are entered into SCTM for test steps and then the execution is finished. The execution drops to the list of last exections (fine so far) and the duration for the execution is listed as a column heading (still fine so far). Now I want to see the details of the exection and select the run id. I'm taken to the "Results for Execution Plan <name> page, and here is the bug: the duration column for each test is 0h 0m 0s and I cannot seem to get SCTM to record actual duration times for each test. This is clearly known by the system as it records the overall duration time for the execution.

It appears that if we use the Manual Testing Client to execute the manual test, the execution duration is displayed in the Test Run Results of the run id for each individual manual test assigned to an execution.

However if we use the Web GUI to execute the manual tests, the execution duration is 0h 0m 0s for the manual tests.

Would like to request to introduce a start, pause and finish run button for manual tests executed in the WebUI to capture accurate elapsed time for the test execution which the Manual Testing Client is capable of achieving.

With the release of SCTM 12.0 you have the ability to enter the time taken to execute a test on the Web UI, see attached screenshot. You can also perform video recording from the Web UI as well.
