After running an update, the message "Transaction high-water mark updated" is displayed. What does that mean?
$ accurev update
Scanning entire workspace for files touched since last scan - ok
Calculating changes - ok
Transaction high-water mark updated
The "Transaction high-water mark updated" message is displayed when the workspace is updated to the latest depot transaction but no files in the workspace needed to be changed. This can happen when the new transactions are in streams that your workspace does not "see". Even though no files we actually updated, AccuRev still records that the workspace has been updated to the latest transaction level and this status message refers to that as the "transaction high-water mark".
