Labeling (more detail given to) snapshots.

How do other users provide more information in a snapshot? It would seem to be beneficial to know what is in the snapshot. I understand you can look at the history to back track the project itself but a single place would be nice to have for a snapshot. Unless I am missing something.

For example:
Snapshot Name: "Project1_Rev_1.00"
Comments: "Initial product release. Provides functionality for customer A. etc..."

Do I have a conceptual gap?
