After upgrading AccuRev, sparse workspaces hang when performing an update

PROBLEM/ABSTRACT:
After upgrading AccuRev, any updates performed in the GUI after certain workspaces are reparented off different streams get to about 80-90% complete and just hang. If you update via the CLI, the operation completes.

CAUSE:
This is a defect with AccuRev, defect #9078. The problem will occur if the workspace you are reparenting was originally created as a sparse workspace. Run the command 'accurev show wspace' to determine if the workspace in question is a sparse workspace. To determine this, look at the "Type" value below, a 0 will indicate a sparse workspace.

SOLUTION:
To resolve this problem, you will need to change the workspace to a default type. Execute the command 'accurev chws -w <workspace name> -kd'
