Recycle Bin for Octane tests

There should be a Restoration option for Accidentally deleted tests. I reiterate I lost the parent folder of 10000 tests and there was no restoration in place. I had to raise an Octane ticket and a backup link was sent. I had to manually map the lost folder structure which was built over a period of 12 months. ALM has this feature. Please bring this feature ASAP in Octane. Any accidental loss should be given an option of restoration.

Yes, can the application modules be restored. Moved to a Recycle Bin or so?

This is not yet possible.
As idea titles cannot be updated, will you please add a new idea and change it from Tests to Application modules?

Shalini Venugopal deleting an application module does not delete the tests. It just unassigns them from the current application module and you can still find them in the root or in any other module they are assigned to.

Do you mean that you would need a restoration option for application modules?

We have added alert so users cannot delete Manual Tests (MT)

You can in the permissions area remove Delete options on application modules for most roles so they cannot be deleted either - or set to Delete by owner only
