Unable to use all fields to be used in Choose Columns, Sort, Group By, and Filter

There's a few other suggestions that address specific areas, but this suggestion should apply for all entities in Octane.

Only certain fields are available to be used in the display of, and usage of fields within Octane.

Ideally we would expect to be able to choose ALL columns available to a specific entity (Epic, Feature, User Story, Task, Defect etc...), and also be able to be able to use these fields to sort, group by, or filter on.

Currently, only certain fields (different on each area of the application), are available.

  • Hi, this is basically the same request I just wanted to submit. It is not too general, but the issue is that Octane does not provide this in general.
    Those lists are always filtered for any conditions, but this is not helpful, as is restricts the users.
    Reporting single fields will not solve the problem, but the next person will need just another field in another area.

    Is there any technical reason to do so?
    Please remove this restrictions in general! It would be very, very helpful!
    (yes in some cases people could create senseless filters... so what? they will recognize and change it)
