by Micro Focus Employee in Application Delivery Management

We are proud to announce the release of Micro Focus UFT Mobile 2021 R1!

This latest version optimizes your mobile testing experience with accessibility testing for visually impaired users, simplified device access, improved lab management, and support for additional technologies.

Here are the prominent highlights you should know about this version.

Accessibility Testing

Ensure that every Android and iOS user can use your apps conveniently—even users with visual impairments.

A new accessibility inspector in the device access window enables you to verify that VoiceOver (iOS) and TalkBack (Android) users can conveniently use your app.

Redesigned Device Window

Enhanced front-end and improved functionality for interacting with a device.

Interact with the device using the actions in the toolbar next to the device, and the options in the panels on the left and right-hand side of the device access window. You can collapse the panels, change the order of the tabs at the top of the panels, and drag and drop tabs from one panel to another.

Embedded iOS Packaging Service

Leverage UFT Mobile’s new built-in iOS packaging service and manage signing assets from the UFT Mobile console.

HarmonyOS Support

Building on UFT Mobile’s rich technology stack with support for Huawei’s next-gen OS. Simply connect HarmonyOS 2 devices to UFT Mobile and test your Android apps on them.

New Appium Support

The version of Appium included with UFT Mobile has been updated to version 1.22.
