Stay ahead of the competition and join us online for Virtual Universe. Learn how Micro Focus is uniquely positioned to help you achieve consistent speed and quality in your software delivery. Our performance engineering track opens Wednesday, May 20th, with Sharon Levin, one of our Micro Focus LoadRunner product experts, presenting Performance Engineering in a Hyper-Scaling World: The explosion of users, transactions, and data is forcing business and IT to collaborate to release faster while still delivering a superior end-user experience; thus, organizations are driven to adopt Agile & DevOps practices to stay competitive. Learn how to deliver crash-proof apps in today’s hyper-scaling world with performance engineering. Through real-life examples and best practices, you will better understand how to engineer quality by testing earlier and continuously throughout the SDLC. Sharon’s presentation will last from 1:30-1:50PM CDT.
Next up in our performance engineering track is a presentation from Vivek Koul, Engineering Manager at McGraw-Hill. He will be presenting LoadRunner: Enabling McGraw Hill to Shift Left with Performance Engineering: Software engineering teams must balance faster product lifecycles with app performance. They need tools that facilitate team collaboration and asset re-use. Automated tools and analysis can improve developer productivity, while performance engineers empower development to execute right-sized tests earlier in development. This is where shift left testing makes an impact. This session explains why the shift left methodology is gaining prominence within Performance Engineering, the importance and benefits of shifting performance testing left, and how LoadRunner Cloud has enabled McGraw Hill to shift-left today. Vivek’s presentation will last from 1:50-2:10PM CDT.
Last, but certainly not least, Vicky Giavelli, Director of Product Management here at Micro Focus, will present Achieve High Performance with Team Work and Modernization: Maintaining high performance levels that enhance the customer experience, makes everyone, not just performance engineers, a steward of product performance. This session looks at how Micro Focus LoadRunner has evolved to enable every persona, from left to right, to participate in performance testing. Insights include how to effectively leverage assets, collect, centralize and analyze data from different sources, and how the solutions will evolve. Vicky’s presentation will last from 2:10-2:30PM CDT.
There is no charge to attend, but pre-registration is required. All registrants will receive access information via email on the morning of Tuesday, May 19.
