Delphi exceptions not caught by BoundsChecker

Problem:

Why are my exceptions in my Delphi code not being caught by BoundsChecker?

Resolution:

Exceptions that occur in Delphi code will not be caught by BoundsChecker. This is because Delphi wraps everything in exception handling. The exception never gets passed to the debugger or OS. This is going to be the case with any integrated Delphi debugger. The debugger never sees an exception occurring and, as such, can't remark on it.
