My program is trapping an error that does not normally exist when not running under SmartCheck
SmartCheck will occasionally interfere with the normal function of some components that you might use. In these cases it is necessary to stop SmartCheck from hooking into them.
It is not always apparent which component SmartCheck is interfering with. Sometimes you can tell by where the error occurs. However most often it is a process of elimination.
As a work around, you should try a couple of things, but try one thing at a time.
With your exe loaded in SmartCheck or your project loaded in VB, go to the SmartCheck Settings dialog window and:
On the 'Files to check' tab and deselect all modules except for items appearing on the list that you do not have the source code for.
If that doesn't help, then on the 'Error Detection' tab, try reducing the types of things SmartCheck will be checking for.
