Suppression not appearing to work correctly in BoundsChecker 5.02

Problem:

I am attempting to suppress an error in my application and am having a problem doing so. Every time I tell BC to "Suppress" the error, it does not seem to work --even if I save the suppression information. The next time the application runs the error pops up as before. What can I do?

Resolution:

You must reinstall BoundsChecker to the default directory suggested during the install, [drive]:\bchecker (OR one with a complete path with less than ~24 characters--don't forget the bc.exe!). This is a known issue with BoundsChecker 5.02 that has been fixed in the 5.03 service pack. When you reinstall your suppression will work fine.
