DA console can not contact the DARA machine in different domain

Problem:

It seems that the DA console can not contact the DARA machine unless both machines were logged in to the same domain. Is this a requirement of this product, or is there some sort of configuration that we may have missed?

Resolution:

First of all, check to see if the service "Computer Browser" is disabled on your computer.  If it is, you need to check for the registry key the Browser Parameters (found at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SYSTEM -> Services -> Bowser -> Parameters).  You will see a parameter for MaintainServerList.  It should be set to "Yes" or "Auto" to be able to start the Computer Browser service. If you changed the services parameter from disabled, you must now start the service.
