PROBLEM: CodeReview and FailSafe reject some source files as binary

Problem:

Trying to open certain projects in CodeReview or FailSafe can produce an error that some of the files are binary. When I try to open my project in CodeReview/Failsafe, it says that the file is binary and will not load it. My files have non ASCII characters in them like #225;, etc.

Resolution:

CodeReview and Failsafe look at the first 256 characters of the file to determine if it is a binary file. If any nonstandard English characters are found, they complain. To fix this, add a small header to the top of the files containing only plain ascii characters, such as spaces or *.
