How can I use the C compiler with C Framework drivers?
Some developers prefer to take advantage of advanced features of the C language (such as improved type safety and on-the-fly variable declaration) without using the C device framework. If you prefer to use the C compiler with the C Framework, simply change the source file extension from C to CPP. For example, to modify the SIMPLE project:
ren simple.c simple.cpp
Note that this technique will only work with VtoolsD for Windows 95 version 2.03 or later, or VtoolsD for Windows 3.1 version 1.16 or later.
