Problem:

Why are some pages blank in the DevPartner Java user interface

Resolution:

The likeliest reason is that the security settings in Internet Explorer prevent ActiveX controls from running. DevPartner Java Edition runs properly under the default Internet Explorer settings. If they have been changed, perform these steps to reset them:


  1. Start the DevPartner Java Edition user interface in the Internet Explorer browser.
  2. From the browser's Tools menu, select Internet Options.
  3. In the Internet Options dialog box, select the Security tab.
  4. Click Custom Level to open the Security Settings dialog box.
  5. In the ActiveX controls and plug-ins section, scroll down to Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins and select Enable.
  6. Click OK to save the change and close the dialog box.
  7. In the Internet Options dialog box, click OK to save the new settings and close the dialog box.
