Problem:

How can I prevent SecurityChecker from seeing my Custom Error pages as an attack?

Resolution:

This article pertains to all versions of Security Checker.

By default, SecurityChecker recognizes standard ASP.NET error pages. To prevent SecurityChecker from seeing Custom Errors as an attack, and to increase accuracy, Custom Error Strings can be added. Use the Analysis page in the DevPartner SecurityChecker Settings dialog to add Custom Error pages.

From the DevPartner SecurityChecker menu, select Settings -> Analysis. Under Integrity Analysis, there is a field to add Custom Error Strings.
