Named licenses are fixed to the Hostid for that platform, which is the primary MAC address. The primary MAC address can vary depending on which network interface is in use at the time and may not match the “HostId” on the license file. In that event the license can be fixed to the Disk Serial number for the laptop.
To gather that information:
Start the Programs\Compuware\Distributed Liceense Management Utility
Click on “Show System Information”
Copy and paste the results to a .txt file
Alternatively, open up a shell, and run "dlminfo > results.txt".
Then open up a support incident and request a new license file, attaching the contents from the Show System Information or the dlminfo to the incident, along with a copy of the current license file.
The new license file containing the appropriate “Serial ID” value should resolve the issue.
