Allaire's JRun and JCheck / TrueTime / TrueCoverage / Memory Profiler

Problem:

How can I run JCheck on servlets that I deploy using Allaire's JRun?

Resolution:

You just need to kick off the JRun manager through JCheck.  To do this within JCheck, set the classpath to include all of the .jar files in JRun\lib as well as the JRun\jsm-default\classes directory (plus any others that you need for your servlets).

Then invoke java.exe with the arguments:

com.livesoftware.jrun.service.ServiceManager C:\JRun\jsm-default

This will start JRun in application mode under JCheck.  The same instructions apply for any of the other tools in DevPartner Java Edition.

An easy way is to take our

JRun Project file for JCheck and just modify the paths to point to the proper places on your system.
