We are haing LoadRunner 12.55 installed. We are facing issue with the controller. Everytime we open it, we get "not Responding " .
Kindly help me here.
RAM: 9 GB,
System Type: 64 bit,
Processor: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2698 v3 @2.30GHz 2.29GHz
Hard Disk: 22 GB free in C drive
Machine Event Log: The following fatal alert was received: 40.
i disabled Symantec anti virus in my system, still facing same error.
1 processor is not enough I'm afraid...
the minimal specification is at least 4 CPU's - this may cause the type of distruptions you are describing.
if this is a VM, can you try and increase the number of CPUs?
and if not, can you try on a machine with at least 4 CPUs and let us know?
I think it should not be an issue with CPU.
Because on the same machine i was able to run multiple load test for a week and this problem started from yesterday.
I dont have other machine having more CPU where i can try opening controller.
So issues started only from yesterday?
what changed from yesterday to today?
the only thing I can think of is that some sort of update was done to the machine.
if it is part of a large IT frame work, it is possible your IT administrator installed a general update that somehow is causing this interruption.
I recommend to go over the installed update list, see what is the delta from yesterday when all worked fine and try to uninstall that update.
That being said - 1 CPU still is not enough for a full installation of LoadRunner 12.55
