We would like to have the option to switch on or off the screen on devices from the interface.
we have 2 reasons for this idea :
Test the apps notifications when screen is off (see the content of the notification for example)
Limit the energy consumption of our devices. by default they could be with screen off, and automatically switch ON when opened by a user or at least a button to wake up the screen.
This would also limit battery swelling as the temperature of devices would drop significantly.
This already works with some devices using the home button on the interface (samsungs and some ios), but not on all devices (pixel).
