How can I change the default view after login from Administration to the Issue Manager view

To change the default module displayed in SilkCentral after login please follow the steps below:

1. Browse to the following directory:

   ..\Segue\SilkCentral Test Manager 7.0\conf\frontendserver

2. Open the SccFrontendBootConf.xml file in a text editor.

3. Edit the "" section: Issue Manager Issue Manager Administration Administration

4. For all user groups you can make the following changes:
   Issue Manager Issue Manager Issue Manager Issue Manager

5. Now restart all SilkCentral services and log back into SilkCentral.

Note that the XML tag has been changed from "Administration" to "Issue Manager" so that when you log in as a System Admin you will go to the Issue Manager view.
