Why do I get the error "TNS: listener does not currently know of SID given in connect descriptor" reported when importing an existing repository?

Resolution:

ANSWER

This is a known issue and is the result of the Oracle connection parameters being processed incorrectly internally. The value of the SID is processed as the user and the value of user is used as the SID. The workaround for this is to enter the SID into the User field then enter the User into the SID field.

This issue was resolved in version 4.01 of Issue Manager.
