When copying a project with custom issue states, why does the new project not include the custom issue states?

When copying a project and trying to include the previous issue states created in the previous project it is necessary to:

  • Select Projects
  • Select Project List
  • Select the Project you want to copy. 
  • Within the actions column choose the copy icon to begin copying the project. 

 

         

Once selected you are then requested to choose the information and settings to be included in the new version of this copied project.  Select the ‘Settings’ and other additional information as required

If you then review the issues states available these should also including the issue states created in your previous project.
