What are the different views in the Test Plan section?
In the SilkCentral Test Manager “Test Plan” section there are three views that are available for a user, they are as follows:
Document View
This view allows the user to see a numeric and colour-coded breakdown of all test definitions and their status – they can also see last execution time, last build number and information on last modifications and who made them.
Test Plan View
This allows the user to see a detailed breakdown of test definitions; the information is displayed within several tabs – such as properties, contents, parameters etc. This is the view that allows the user to see all information about the test definitions while also allowing them to make any changes required.
Grid View
This view allows the user to see all test definitions in a grid layout. Test definitions are not organised by hierarchy, but can be arranged by ascending or descending order of any of the grid column headers. The layout of the grid can be changed via drag and drop – to allow the user to create a layout that they prefer. This view is a new feature to SilkCentral Test Manager 2008 R2.
