Why does the error "Windows installer is not correctly installed" appear when installing SilkCentral Test Manager?

There are two possible reasons for this error;

1. This error can appear if the user who is installing SilkCentral does not have Administrator privileges on the machine.

2. If the user does have Administrator privileges, the problem may be that the Windows installer files are damaged or missing. To overcome this, either re-register the Windows installer or reinstall the Windows installer.
