There is an issue with the SCTM Executor plugin on Hudson/Jenkins while saving a simple configuration.

When you create a new job in Hudson/Jenkins to run Silk Central Executions, if you run into java.lang.NullPointerException, please implement the Build settings as explained in this article.

After entering the Execution Defintion ID and SCTM Project ID for the Build step in Hudson/Jenkins and clicking the Save button, you will be shown with the Exception.

To resolve the error, go to the Advanced settings of the Build step and set the option for Build number usage as  "Don't care about a build number". Please refer to the screenshot below:

This setting should allow you to save the SCTM configuration successfully in Hudson/Jenkins.
