Problem:

Why am I receiving the error message "The log file for database "<database-name>" is full. Back up the transaction log for the database to free up some log space." when using SilkCentral Test Manager?

Resolution:

If you are receiving the following error message on screen or have seen it in the log files:

"The log file for database "silkscheduler" is full. Back up the transaction log for the database to free up some log space."


This is a SQL database management issue and there are instructions at the following link on how to back-up your transaction log:

Please note that these instructions are only relevant if you are using SQL Server as your database host for SilkCentral Test Manager.
