Why is the Manual Testing Client license check-out failing?
If you are getting an error ( License Error. See application server log file for details )when trying to assign manual tests even though there are enough manual testing client licenses, then this may be related to a problem with the license for the Manual Testing Client.
The error should look like the following:
In the application server logs an error such as the following may appear:
Obtaining "SilkCentralManualTestingClient 8.6" license for user "" from SilkMeter failed -  No policy available for this product
In the license it should show the following:
product = SilkCentralManualTestingClient;
Ensure that the C for client is capitalized – if it is not, then please email License.Key@borland.com; include the original license policy file, state that the C for client is not capitalized and request a new license with this changed.
NOTE: manually changing this in the policy file will not resolve the problem and will require the license to be regenerated again with the change made.
