Problem:

Why can I not enter actual results into manual test execution in SilkCentral TestManager?

Resolution:

This is not possible to setup directly from SilkCentral TestManager, however as SilkCentralTest Manager can be configured to allow users to use ldap passwords then an administrator could configure the ldap server to prompt users to change their passwords at regular intervals, therefore SilkCentral TestManager will use the new passwords each time also as it takes the password information from the ldap server.

A manual testing client license should be part of the SilkCentral TestManager license – this can be viewed by opening the license policy file and looking for the manual test section
