Problem:

I have added a project to SilkCentral TestManager - When some users logon they cannot see the project in the projects section.

Resolution:

Some users cannot see certain projects in the projects section even though the projects are there.

This can be resolved by either of the following:

• Via User settings:
  
  • Go to Administration | users
    
  • Select the user that cannot view the project.
    
  • Go to the Group and Role Assignments section

• • Click “Save”
    
  • The user will now be added to a group that has access to that project
    
• Via Project settings:
  
  • Go to Administration | Projects.
    
  • Click on your project’s “Active” button – this Deactivates the project
    (the project needs to be Deactivated before your can make configuration changes).
