Problem:

Where is the Manual Test information stored in SilkCentral TestManager?

Resolution:

The Manual Test data is stored in four tables within the database that SilkCentral TestManager is currently connected to. These tables are:

  • TM_ManualTestDefinition
  • TM_ManualTestSteps
  • TM_ManualTestResults
  • TM_ManualTestStepResults

To view the tables you will need a database viewer that is capable of reading your database type e.g. for Microsoft SQL2005 you can use the Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio. Although you may be able to make changes from within the database viewer, it is not advisable to do so.
