In the "Reports" module, several of the standard reports do not return the correct results in the "Data" tab (including missing values). Why?
For example, if we create a
new Test Definition, and run the following report:
Reports>Test Plan>Progress Reports>Test Definition
Progress Between Dates>Test Definition Progress Over the Past
Days
The results returned in the "Data" table do not display
values from the previous two days. That is to say, if a new
Test Definition is created on the 14th May 2008 and we update the
values returned by this report (with the value in the
"Parameter" tab set to "Days=7"), the data
contained within the report will only show results from the days
prior to the 12th May 2008. No values from the 13th or 14th
of May will be returned.
This issue has been identified as a defect within SilkCentral Test
Manager 2006 R2 and has subsequently been fixed in the latest
release of SilkCentral Test Manager 2008. If you experience
these symptoms, it is advised you upgrade to SCTM 2008 at your
earliest convenience.
