PROPERTIES

You will use properties when you are working with requirements, as to allow you to make your tests fit your requirements as much as possible.

To add requirement properties, go to Settings->Custom Requirement Properties

To edit properties go to Requirements->Click on the Requirement View button located on the toolbar (second button in from the left). You will then see edit properties. You can assign values to the custom properties to further customise your requirements:

ATTRIBUES:

Test attributes are used to further customise information on test definitions in the Test Plan unit. This may be carried out to categorise test definitions to your needs using the filters or make test definitions compatible with SilkTest testcases.

To Edit or add attributes, go to Test Manager->Settings->Attributes

To add, delete or edit attributes for a particular test definition, go to Test Manager->Test Plan->Attributes and click on the edit symbol to the left of the attribute.
