Problem:

Where are attachments for manual tests downloaded to on the local machine?

Resolution:

When using the Manual Testing Client 2008 R2, if a user clicks to download an attachment – it will be downloaded to the local machine – it will be saved to the Manual Testing Client’s workspace directory in C:\Documents and Settings\ and all attachments should be in a resources folder under the manual-tester’s directory.

To see these files:

  • Access them via the Manual Testing Client or
  • Go C:\Documents and Settings\\Manual Testing Client\workspace\\resources
