Problem:

Why can I not see all my Components when creating an issue?

Resolution:

As "Components" are specific to "Products" it is not possible to share a single list of components across more than one product in SilkCentral Issue Manager, you need to create components for each product.

Check the components are set to Active: You can check the components and status for each "Product" under

ADMINISTRATION | CONFIGURATION | PRODUCTS | select Product | COMPONENT


Please check that the "Components" in question are available under your selected "Product" and have a "Status" of "Active". If they do not, select the "Status" to activate the component(s).

Components are stored in the "SCC_Components" table, the DBA
can confirm if the components you expect to see exist, the "ProductID_fk" field identifying which product any components in the database belong to.
