If you have just installed SilkCentral Test Manager 2011, or upgraded from a previous version, you may notice that if you wish to view your tests in a grid view no data is displayed, like below:

If you have no tests in your project this is a given, but if you have tests, you should see results here.  If you viewed the tests in the details view you would see them.

You can resolve this issue by enabling the ‘snapshot’ isolation level on your SQL Server database.  You do this by carrying out the following steps:

a: Connect to the database server.
Note: You must have administrator rights on the database server to be able to enable the setting.
b.  Execute the following command: ALTER DATABASE SET ALLOW_SNAPSHOT_ISOLATION ON.
(This issue can occur more if you are upgrading from a previous version of SilkCentral. You can find full information on this issue, and upgrading from a previous version in the SilkCentral 2011 online help.  Search for the topic "Upgrading to SilkCentral Test Manager 2011".)
Once you have done this, if you refresh the page in SilkCentral (or log out and in again) and go again to the grid view, you will see your test details, as below
