What steps can you take to overcome the error; "The Report Server is not available"?

There are a number of steps that you could take to try and get the Report Server back up and going:

2. Check that the Report Server is running in the SilkCentral Service Manager.

3. Check the Report Server log which can be found in the Test Manager "install" directory in the log folder, this will give you any information you need about the server stopping.

4. Check the communication on the RMI(19129) port, this is initialised in the SccReportServerBootConf.xml file, although if the report number is changed due to a network or firewall configuration issue, it will need to be changed also in the "admin" console.

5. If you are running from a client or an execution server, then try to connect to the Report Server locally if possible.
