Can SilkCentral Test Manager be accessed from a Mac using OS/X or on Linux?

ANSWER

SilkCentral Test Manager can be successfully accessed from a Mac client using either Safari or Firefox and from most versions of Linux using Firefox as the client.

Please be aware though that these configurations are not supported.

Also note that SilkCentral Test Manager cannot be installed on a Mac or on any version of Linux and that any of the Windows-based tools (e.g. Office Import) will only work under Windows.

NOTE: Although SilkCentral Test manager CAN be accessed from a Linux machine using Firefox as the browser, this configuration has NOT been fully tested and is not supported. A CR has been logged for this to be tested/supported. (CR Num: 40346).
