QUESTION

How do I link an issue created in SilkCentral Issue Manager to a test definition in SilkCentral Test Manager?

ANSWER
----------------------------------

Navigate in SilkCentral Test Manager to Administration/Configuration/Issue Tracking. Click on the New Profile button
and create an Issue Tracking Profile of type "Issue Manager". Please see "SilkCentral Issue Manager Profiles" in the
SilkCentral Administration Guide for more information on how to create Issue Tracking Profiles.

Once you have done this, navigate to the test definition you want to assign an Issue Manager issue to and click on
the "Issues" tab. Then click on the "Assign External Issue" button. You will need to select the name of the Profile that
you have just created and enter the Issue Manager ID.

Once you click ok, the issue should be added to the list of issues for that test definition. To access the issue from the
test definition, simply click on the Issue number in the "Extern" column and SilkCentral Issue Manager should open up
at the corresponding issue.
