Problem:

Why do I get a red "!"against my working folder when Caliber RM and SilkCentral Test Manager sync up after upgrading to SCTM 2007?

Resolution:

The red exclamation mark indicates that MPX (MPX is the StarTeam Message Broker) is not enabled on the CaliberRM Server. In SilkCentral Test Manager 2007 the integration has changed so that CaliberRM is the single source of truth (CaliberRM is the master project) . SCTM 2007 now automatically updates the requirements whenever a change is made in the master project. The exclamation mark indicates the current synchronisation status. Red meaning that the automatic update is not possible as MPX is not enabled. User"s can still force the synchronization as per the old SCTM version by clicking "Synchronise Requirement" or can enable MPX and it will be done automatically. MPX can be turned on in Control Panel - CaliberRM Server -> MPX.
