Problem:

When clicking the Overview tab, why do I get "Chart Server error Message = Report request to http://<server URL>:19126/BirtServer failed: "?

Resolution:

This error is thrown when the Chart Server has failed to start properly. On the Chart Server PC:

1. In the systray, open the SilkCentral Service Manager

2. Select the SilkCentral Chart Server tab

3. Stop and Start the Chart Server; check the results for the message "SilkCentral Chart Server is running". Select Query Status if necessary

4. Ensure that "Run At Startup" is checked

Try the Overview tab again - the problem should now be fixed.
