Problem:

Why do I see the error "String index out of range: 80" when trying to add a new state in SilkCentral Issue Manager 2008 R2?

Resolution:

Trying to add a new SilkCentral Issue Manager state under ISSUE TRACKING | CONFIGURATION | WORKFLOWS | ADD STATE results in the following error:








This only occurs when adding a value in the "Description" field which is not exactly 0 or 80 characters in length.

SCTM89_Hotfix_05 has been released to address this issue. To request the hotfix, please contact support@borland.com.
