It is possible to install Issue Manager using the SilkCentral Test Manager installation package without installing the SilkCentral Test Manager components.
To do this you should select the "Custom Installation" option as shown below:


The following dialog will appear:


It is not necessary to install an Execution Server if you are only installing the SilkCentral Issue Manager component, however the Application and Chart Server are required.

The Charts contained in the Chart tab in the reports unit of SilkCentral Issue Manager will be generated by the Chart Server. Also, if Birt reports are generated the Chart Server is required.

More information on configuring Chart Servers after installation can be found in the SilkCentral Administration Online Help under "Specifying Locations for Chart Servers".
