Why does the installation of Report Developer freeze when being installed on Windows 2003?

This is because the version of Install Anywhere, the tool we use to install our
application, does not support working with windows 2003 and does not recognize Windows 2003 as a windows operating system.

However, we can work around this issue. To install Report Developer on Windows 2003, follow the instructions below;

1. Right-click "StyleReport_EE_51.exe"
2. Select "Properties"
3. Switch to "Compatibility" tab
4. Check "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and choose "Windows 2000"
5. Confirm by pressing OK

Now you can go ahead and launch "StyleReport_EE_51.exe" and Report Developer should successfully install on Windows 2003.
