Problem:

Why does a Test Definition give a status of "Failed/Not Supported" when the most recent run for the Test Definition has a status of "Passed"?

Resolution:

If a Test Definition gives a status of “Failed/Not Supported” when the most recent run for the Test Definition has a status of “Passed” – See below.

1. Click on “Test Plan” module and choose “Assigned Executions” tab.
2. It is likely that the Test Plan has 2 or more execution definitions assigned
3. Choose these execution definitions in turn and check the status of their last run. Almost certainly the last run of one of these executions will have a status of “Failed/NotSupported” – giving an overall status for the test definition as Failed or Not Supported
4. If a Test definition has 2 execution definitions assigned to it, the last run for each of these executions has to be passed or unsupported before the overall status of the Test definition will be passed.
