This problem partly lies with the Browser taking a long time to refresh the information that is held for all of the manual tests. Such performance issues are being addressed with each release of SilkCentral Test Manager. To workaround this problem the Manual Testing Client can be used. This allows the user to execute many manual tests in sequence without any such delays. The Manual Testing Client can be downloaded and installed by going to "Help" -> "Tools" in SilkCentral and clicking on "Manual Testing Client"

Test Manager"s Manual Testing Client enables testers to manage their tests and track results without the need of an Internet connection. The Manual Testing Client offers the core manual-test execution functionality that is offered directly in Test Manager, via a Windows-based client tool.
