How can I apply rules or styles as document wide using the office import tool?

The easiest way to do this is to use the styles and format menu. To use this:

  • Select a specific type of text.
  • In the example below (fig 1) underlined text format is chosen.
  • Now select the menu option FORMAT | STYLES AND FORMATTING.
  • A new window will appear and give you options to apply the format document wide.
  • In the event that you have many instances of the same text format, the wizard will inform you of how many instances you can change or re-format
