Problem:

What is the default Test Definition test "Type" in SilkCentral Test Manager?

Resolution:

When creating a new child "Test definition" in SilkCentral Test Manager, the default test "Type" will be the first in the drop-down list, currently this is SilkTest. There is at present no ability to specify a different default test "Type" within SilkCentral Test Manager.

The list of available test "Type" options are:

  • SilkTest test
  • SilkPerformer test
  • Manual test
  • SilkTest Multi-Testcase import
  • NUnit test
  • Windows Scripting test
  • JUnit test
  • .Net Explorer test
