Problem:

Why am I unable to change the "Grouped By" drop down list when editing a "List" from the "List of Values"?

Resolution:

If the Group By drop down menu is greyed out / disabled you will not be able to change the grouping. The reason why is the "Grouped by" drop down list cannot be changed after a value has been created as all values must have the same grouping. The only way this can be changed is by removing all values and then re-creating them in the correct grouping.
