Why is the refresh or updates of the Activities page slow?

NOTE: This information applies to version 8.0 only. The
update is already incorporated into v8.1 upwards.
The activities page is used to display data from all execution
servers used in test definitions. The data is sent back from
execution servers to the FrontEnd server at intervals however in
some instances an execution server may be experiencing performance
issues or perhaps network problems and therefore it is slow to send
back the requested data. As a result of this behavior a patch has
been released to allow the update of this page to take into account
slow responses from execution servers. Once the patch is installed
and you attempt to update the activities page any execution servers
that are unreachable are bypassed and as such there is no delay
caused by waiting on the update. Contact silk.support@borland.com
